So I cut it in half and wove the two pieces together. The idea being that I would fussy cut my 'painterly' leaves and apply them to this background.  Posted by Picasa

    I like this on its own without the leaves - but then I'm an abstract person... the green shapes drifting across look like leaves and the red ones look like other leaves. Maybe you could quilt it and highlight those?
