Worked on the other half using Markal paintstiks, oil pastels and water soluble pencils. I also used a techique from by gone days to layer the scrapings off the top of the paintstiks on a piece of fabric and then place over where I want the marks to be. Then with the soldering iron burn into the top fabric. This will leave coloured marks on the piece below. Good for stones, grit, gravel or just marks!
