Yes - it is a totally cool tree. Although I'd not want to try to draw those leaves. Eek! But what cool shapes - great curves.

ReplyDeleteThe leaves do lend themselves to 3D applique and other fibre forms.The little nuts are great for stumpwork.
You didn't show any of the tree trunk..some species have intricate "scribbles" on their white bark which go well in art work
Failing that, break a few and put them into a steaming bath for an invigorating soak . . . . :)
ReplyDeleteThe steamed leaves are good for colds, too, and when the berries dry out, they make great beads!
