ReplyDeleteBased on a dragon from the book U is for Unicorn Arlee. I love dragons! I've got some sketches of dragons on my website.
ReplyDeleteThe dragon is appliqued on using a blanket stitch. The main body is taffeta and the under body is a silk. The veins on the wings are straight stitches and there are beads outlining the body too separating it from the left wing. Also bead for eye and gold thread for fire from mouth! I really loved doing this. I've done him a couple of times.
