    this is really fun! I can think of all sorts of things to do with this. What kind of fabric did you use?

    They are all polyesters or nylons. Only man-made fibres will bubble like this, cottons and silks just discolour and then burn. Some interesting effects can be had with burning silk, especially scalloping the edges.
